The lowest estimate is not always the best deal. You should make sure that you are comparing apples to apples, so to speak. Each estimate you receive should detail all of the labor and materials that the contractor will provide. Perhaps a higher-priced estimate includes all materials while a lower-priced one does not. Also, consider the questions above when determining the best deal. It may be safer to pay a little more and hire a contractor that is fully insured and licensed.
